Your Picture Next To Your Comments

Did you know that when you leave a comment here that instead of a gray stick figure photo next to your comment, it can actually be your face? Did you ever wonder why some comments have pictures and others don’t? It’s because some people have gravatars and others don’t.
Don’t know what a gravatar is? It’s okay, not everyone does, so let me back the gravy train back up… a gravatar is a “globally recognized avatar” that appears next to your comments on blogs that have enabled gravatars and it is based on the email address users register their gravatar and comment with.
Gravatars are a great way to personalize your web involvement and because it follows you everywhere, we suggest an easily identifiable face shot so people will recognize you when they finally get the pleasure of meeting you in person. It’s free and takes about two minutes at gravatar.com where you can even have different gravatars for different email addresses under one account- just sign up and fuggetabout it!
