New Media Lab Represent!
This week, Benn and I will be speaking about social media at the Austin Internet Marketing Meetup group. The group is led by Adam & Laura Alter who are great people that we cross paths with from time to time on the tech scene, here’s what the group is all about:
Get together with other Austinites who work in search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media optimization, social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising, and all other forms of internet marketing. Come learn something new and share what you know with others! This group is for those who are passionate about the art and science of online marketing. No business pitches or highly structured meetings – just good, thought-provoking conversation and good company. Open to all who are interested in attending – freelancers, 9-to-5ers, and business owners alike. The organizers have a combined 12 years of experience in search engine marketing ranging from building and selling a successful multi-million dollar e-commerce business to developing large internet communities.
Why you should go this week:
Come kick it for FREE at Dave & Busters on September 2nd starting at 6:00pm; the topic is “Social Media Marketing is the Future, Not a Trend – Overview & Case Studies” and as of publication of this post, only 34 spots are left, so be sure to RSVP before seats are gone. It will be an informative event and because of the inquisitive, creative yet numbers-driven group, the question and answer portion is sure to be a lot of fun!
