South by Southwest- Austin, TX March 2010

Fondly called “southby,” the South By Southwest Interactive Festival will be here before you know it and hundreds made the cut to get your vote including our panel called “Austin as a Technology Center – Case Study.”

The description we pitched:

Regardless of economics, Austin has flourished as a technology center throughout the years due to creative business & political leadership and individuals making up a culture conducive to and attractive to the tech industry. Architects of this culture will reveal the playbook so other cities’ technology industries might prosper like Austin.

Potential speakers:

We’re in touch with various startup leaders, local politicians, and industry titans that paved the way for Austin to become the tech center it continues to be. We’d love to show the hiccups and successes we’ve had as a city so others might learn how they can lead in their own city to modernize as we have.
